Kalikasan, Lupa, at Pamayanan
Kaluppâ Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit organization based in the municipality of Santa Cruz, in Marinduque, The Philippines, with a strong mission and advocacy for nature and environmental protection, sustainable food production, technical education and skills development, and social change.
Our name is pronounced /kah-LOO-pâ/, an acronym for KAlikasan (lit., Nature), LUPa (Earth), and PAmayanan (Community).
VISION STATEMENT
We envision a better future for our stakeholders through technical-vocation education, environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, and community development. We believe that we can spark a positive change by moving with purpose and see the various aspects of “Kalikasan, Lupa, at Pamayanan” as a means for poverty eradication, self-reliance, and national development.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to build a mutual symbiosis between opportunities and the communities that we support. We provide opportunities to bridge this relational gap in order to address food security, help ensure economic development, advocate for environmental protection, and create a sense of shared community.

MEET THE TEAM
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO
Doc Jun is a medical professional specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (In Service) at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center Manila. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Major at Far Eastern University, and completed a masters degree in Hospital Services Administration at the Ateneo School of Business.
Prior to becoming a full time president and CEO of Kaluppâ Foundation, he was also the former governor and three-termer former vice governor of the Province of Marinduque.
He was also the former Medical Director of the Santa Cruz District Hospital, President of the Marinduque Tourism Council, Chairman of the Philippine Public Health Association-Marinduque Chapter, Chairman of the Marinduque United Farmers and Traders Association, and Chairman of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Marinduque Chapter.
He is a staunch advocate of the environment, public health, agriculture, and social change.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Rafa is the Executive Director of Kaluppâ Foundation, where he oversees organizational operations, collaborates closely with the Board, and drives strategic planning and fundraising initiatives. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Marinduque State College and was awarded a prestigious Food & Agribusiness Value Chains Scholarship at Massey University, Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa, in Palmerston North, New Zealand (2019).
Prior to joining Kaluppâ in 2022, Rafa accumulated nearly two decades of experience in communications, community development, program management, and technical-vocational education and training (TVET) across diverse sectors and industries.
Beyond his leadership role, Rafa serves as a Part-time Instructor at Marinduque State University and is also an accomplished brand and identity designer, graphic artist, events host, and public speaker.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
John Rennen is an experienced Administrative Staff professional with a strong background in office operations and team support. He has handled a wide range of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and managing phone and email correspondence. His role also involved assisting clients, organizing records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth and efficient office workflows.
John brings nearly a decade of experience from his tenure at Jismar Equipment Trading & Services Inc. (2011–2020), where he managed schedules, meetings, and appointments, handled inquiries, maintained records, and coordinated office supplies and vendor requirements. His work consistently supported daily operations and team productivity.
He completed his education at Kaluppâ Foundation Inc. (Agriculture Crop Production NC II, 2025) and Malindig Institute Inc. (2005–2009).
Beyond his administrative expertise, John possesses skills in organizational planning and strategic planning, among others.
TVET SCHOOL TRAINER
Allyssa Mae is one of the tech-voc trainers at Kaluppâ Foundation. Ally, as how she is fondly called by her peers, plans and prepares daily training activities, carries out instructional efforts, and designs modules, curriculum, and training materials, among others.
Holding a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Marinduque State College, Ally successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2023. She was a scholarship recipient of the Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) of Caritas Manila where she was awarded the Outstanding Youth Servant Leader in 2022. She is also a current member sponsor of the Caritas Manila Scholars Association (CAMASA) where she aspires to transform lives of younger people through education.
In her spare time, she enjoys nature trips, playing darts, and reading, and loves watching Korean and Hollywood TV shows, perfumes, and eating good food--lots of it.
TVET SCHOOL TRAINER
Beverlyn serves as one of the TVET trainers at Kaluppâ Foundation teaching agriculture courses. In her role, she guides students in achieving competence and practical skills relative to agricultural crops production.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education degree with a major in General Education from Marinduque State College. She received her teaching license when she successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2023 demonstrating her readiness to excel in her career as an educator.
Beverlyn spends her free time with loved ones watching videos, reading short and romantic stories in her mobile phone, and enjoying good food. She also stays active in sports.
FARM OPERATIONS FOCAL
Eddie Boy is the first employee to join Kaluppâ Foundation in 2022 serving as full time-farmer and TVET school field assistant trainer.
A skilled field farm hand, farm planner, and overall builder, Eddie Boy excels in almost everything that he's been tasked to perform. He also acts as the TVET school's property custodian.
Hailing from Barangay Caganhao, municipality of Boac, in Marinduque, he passed the competency assessment in both Organic Agriculture Production NC II and Agricultural Crops Production NC II with flying colors.
