WHAT WE DO
We aim to strengthen the local economy and create job opportunities; share industry-accepted entrepreneurial skills to communities; create awareness campaigns; and provide a support for the community and stakeholders in close collaboration with sector-focused organizations; provide support for community-based initiatives addressing issues relating to the proper and responsible care of the environment including but not limited to global warming and the effects of climate change.

Our main strategy for accomplishing these aims is by concentrating on the following crucial areas:

Agriculture and Economy

Help improve local agricultural production through the promotion, development, and upgrading of sustainable agricultural crops and livestock production, and to strengthen the local economy by creating job opportunities through sustainable farm tourism.

Education and Skills Upgrading

Conduct capacity building and training, implement tech-voc scholarship programs, provide technical education and skills assessment processes, and implement area-based, demand-driven skills upgrading for poverty reduction and employment.

Environmental Stewardship

Respect our natural resources and the important services they offer, preserve and safeguard our environment, and accomplish sustainable goals by implementing conservation techniques that will rehabilitate them to their original state.

Community Development

Bring people together to work towards a common goal and improve the quality of life in their communities by addressing social and economic issues, promoting inclusivity and diversity, and empowering communities to take action.

WHERE WE SERVE

Kaluppâ Foundation has an operational presence in the island province of Marinduque. The tiny island we call home is called "The Heart of the Philippines," as its shape is similar to that of a human heart. Its location in the arrangement of the archipelago is also similar to the anatomy of where the heart is in the human body. Our province is in the MIMAROPA Region (IV-B), that is 6-8 hours road and ferry trip from Metro Manila. The island has 6 municipalities, a lone district, and is mostly agricultural.
