1. What is a TVET School?
Kaluppâ Foundation is a TESDA-registered Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution offering competency-based programs that prepare learners for employment, entrepreneurship, or further education. All programs strictly follow TESDA Training Regulations and national competency standards.
2. Scholarship Coverage
All TVET programs offered by Kaluppâ are completely free for eligible scholars. Scholarships are funded through TESDA programs such as TWSP, UAQTEA, PESFA, and STEP.
This includes:
No tuition fee
No assessment fee
No miscellaneous charges
3. Who Can Apply
Kaluppâ Foundation prioritizes ordinary community members, out-of-school youth, unemployed adults, women returning to the workforce, farmers, and career shifters. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Filipino citizen
Residing in the Philippines
At least 18 years old by the end of training
Not currently availing another government-funded scholarship
Note: Some TESDA guidelines allow trainees aged 15+ depending on the scholarship type.
4. No Prior Experience Required
Our programs are designed for complete beginners as well as those with experience. Farmers, youth, workers, homemakers, and first-time trainees are all welcome.
5. Program Duration
Schedules depend on trainer availability and open batches. Training duration varies by qualification:
Agricultural Crops Production NC II — 336 hours / 42 days
Plant Crops (ACP Leading) — 76 hours / 10 days
Agroentrepreneurship NC II — 239 hours / 30 days
Barista NC II — 178 hours / 23 days
6. Training Venue
All training is held at:
Kaluppâ Integrated Farm
Brgy. Pantayin, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque
This site is a TESDA-recognized training and assessment venue.
7. TESDA Accreditation
Kaluppâ Foundation is:
A TESDA-registered TVET provider for Agriculture and Tourism
A TESDA-accredited Competency Assessment Center for Agricultural Crops Production NC II
Each program’s registration number and validity appear on the course details page for transparency.
8. TESDA Certification After Training
Upon completing training, scholars take the TESDA National Assessment. Successful trainees receive a National Certificate (NC II) issued as an e-certificate through TESDA’s digital credentialing system. No printed NCs are issued.
9. How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

STEP 2 — Submit Your Requirements In-Person
Bring all required documents to:
Kaluppâ Foundation Inc.
Kaluppâ Integrated Farm
Brgy. Pantayin, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque
Your documents will be checked and you will be scheduled for orientation.
STEP 3 — Create Your TESDA BSRS Account
Applicants must register in TESDA’s Biometric-Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS). Once your BSRS profile and requirements are approved, your training slot is confirmed.
10. Required Documents
Submit photocopies of the following:
PSA Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate (for married women)
School Card / Form 137 / College Diploma
Any government-issued ID
Medical Certificate from Kaluppâ Foundation
1 long brown envelope
4pcs 2x2, and 4pcs 1x1 ID pictures
2pcs Passport-size ID pictures
11. Admission Confirmation
Most applicants receive confirmation:
Immediately during on-site processing (if requirements are complete)
Via SMS
Via email
Through a phone call from the admissions team
Processing time depends on application volume but is often same-day.
12. Eligibility for Out-of-School Youth and Unemployed Adults
Yes — both groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Kaluppâ actively supports:
OSY
Unemployed adults
Career shifters
Farmers and rural workers
Women returning to work
13. Eligibility for Employed Adults and Government Workers
Employed adults may apply as long as they meet TESDA eligibility and can commit to the training schedule (schedule clearance recommended).
Government employees (LGU, national, GOCC, barangay personnel) may also apply with:
Authority/clearance to train
Complete requirements
BSRS account
Elected officials, however, are not processed under TESDA-funded slots at Kaluppâ due to the Foundation’s internal ethics policy prioritizing ordinary citizens. They may enroll via non-scholarship, fee-based options if available.
14. Short Courses Offered
Aside from TESDA programs, Kaluppâ also provides community trainings such as:

Schedules vary based on partner support and community needs.
15. Enrolling in Multiple TESDA Courses
You may enroll in more than one TESDA program—but not at the same time. You must complete one program before starting another.
