The Agricultural Crops Production (ACP) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to produce various agricultural crops which include performing nursery operations, planting, caring and maintaining of crops and carrying-out harvest and postharvest operations. A person who has achieved this qualification is competent to be a farmer/Grower, farm worker, nursery operator, farm aide, or farm caretaker.

Plant Crops leading to Agricultural Crops Production NC II

This Unit of Competency (UC) covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to conduct activities related to land preparation and planting of agricultural crops. This unit also includes proper handling of seeds, seedlings, or saplings for planting and transplanting, proper use of tools and equipment, conduct land preparation and field lay-out. A person who has achieved this qualification is competent to be a farmer/Grower, farm worker, nursery operator, farm aide, or farm caretaker.
Note: The "Plant Crops" training is not an NC II program.

The Agroentrepreneurship NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to assess market opportunities, establish farm production plan, handle finances, and market produce. A person who has achieved this qualification is competent to be a marketing coordinator, or a production coordinator.

To qualify for a TESDA scholarship in Kaluppâ Foundation, you must be:
a Filipino living in the Philippines
at least 18 years of age by the end of the training program the applicant is applying for, (some scholarship programs allow 15 year old applicants), no age limit,
must NOT be current beneficiary of any other government-funded educational scholarship program.
Documentary requirements are as follows:
Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate,
Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (for married women applicants),
Photocopy of Elementary or High School card / Form 137, or Photocopy of College Diploma,
Photocopy of any government-issued ID,
Medical Certificate issued by Kaluppâ Foundation, and
1 pc long brown envelope
