___________
*The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of global goals established by the United Nations in 2015. They aim to address a wide range of global challenges and are designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all" by 2030. The SDGs encourage countries to work together and take action to improve the quality of life for people around the world while protecting the planet..
The foundation promotes economic empowerment by providing free and accessible technical-vocational training in agriculture and tourism. It also offers community-based training focusing on digital literacy, entrepreneurship, business project development, and other livelihood initiatives, helping individuals gain skills, and start their own businesses.
The foundation promotes sustainable farming and food production and helps improve food security by encouraging the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices that protect the environment and improve resilience to climate change.
As a TESDA-registered institution, the foundation ensures its technical-vocational programs meet high standards, offering industry-approved education and lifelong learning. It is also recognized by ATI MIMAROPA as a coconut-based learning site for agriculture.
The foundation promotes gender equality by ensuring girls and women access quality education and lifelong learning. It supports aspiring entrepreneurs with resources, training, microfinance, and business development. Through initiatives like “Kabuhayan para sa Kababaihan,” it empowers women, especially solo mothers, with sustainable income opportunities.
By offering vocational training programs that equip individuals—particularly the youth and marginalized groups—with the skills needed for employment in high-demand sectors, and by creating job opportunities and supporting local economies, the foundation fosters inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
In partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the foundation implements a digital literacy program that provides hands-on computer literacy training. This program equips participants from rural communities with essential digital skills, enabling them to thrive in a competitive job market.
The foundation advocates for nature and environmental protection and promotes sustainable food production and technical education, which helps create resilient communities and thereby contributes to sustainable urban development.
The foundation helps achieve this goal through sustainable agricultural practices that increase productivity while reducing environmental impact. This includes training farmers in sustainable farming techniques and efficient water use. The foundation’s coffee farm project helps reduce waste by implementing a community-supported bottle-drip irrigation system using more than 2,000 recycled soda bottles.
Through environmental protection initiatives, such as the native tree seedlings collection, regular community-supported reforestation, tree planting, and conservation projects, the foundation addresses climate change and promotes sustainability.
The foundation leads reforestation efforts like the “Luntiang Kapaligiran” event, where volunteers plant native trees. It also runs awareness campaigns and educational programs on environmental protection and biodiversity. By promoting sustainable food production and technical education, the foundation helps maintain healthy ecosystems and prevent land degradation.
Through its diverse partnerships and collaborations, the foundation underscores the importance of working together with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector companies, and international organizations. This cooperative approach leverages resources and expertise to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
