We and our partners believe in what local communities of women can accomplish. That is why we carry out projects aimed at enhancing their economy by creating a sustainable opportunity for productive work and decent income especially for moms and solo parents in poor communities. We believe that by strengthening their local community and providing them with opportunities, we can develop more entrepreneurs, create jobs, generate income, and in the future improve their livelihood and community as a whole.
We and the Rotary Club of Metro Valenzuela believe in what the local community of women in Barangay Buyabod, Santa Cruz, Marinduque can accomplish. That is why we carried out a project aimed at enhancing their economy by creating a sustainable opportunity for productive work and decent income especially for women, and strengthening their local community by the development of more entrepreneurs.
We gathered 26 local women, almost all of them solo parents and 4Ps-member* mothers, in a 2-day project we called “‘Sang Patak na Ideya, Kabuhayan ay Kayang-kaya: Matuto, Gumawa, at Kumita” where they were taught how to make affordable dishwashing liquid which they can sell locally. READ MORE...
